My sister, Mary, died Monday night from complications from melanoma. She was at home with her family and some of her close friends with her. Mary lived with such courage and strength. I don't have a lot of words right now.http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_194116.asp
Jennie, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your sister. I am a fellow DFMC teammate and found your blog as I was creating mine through our DFMC community page a few days ago. I am so sorry for all that you and your family are going through. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteKeep training, keep fighting. We can do this. We can beat this. I will not give up and I know you won't either. Stay strong!
With love,
fellow DFMC teammate, Emily
Jennie,
ReplyDeleteI lost my only sibling at age 30 and can't even begin to fathom your loss of 3 siblings so young. Running with DFMC teammates was truly cathartic for me last year and I hope running with DFMC can help you the same way. I know there are no words to adequately describe your loss. May your family find strength you need to get you through this difficult time. And may your siblings be the wind beneath your wings for your running.
